Aston Martin DBS770 Ultimate
Aston Martin DBS770 Ultimate
United Kingdom5.2L V12 48vbi-turbo8-speedsemi-autorwdstreet
Aston Martin is ending production of the flagship DBS coupe, and the new modification is intended to mark farewell to the model. Modernized, including due to the boost pressure increased by 7%, the 5.2-liter V12 in the grand tourer works with an eight-speed automatic transmission with changed calibrations. A limited slip differential is also provided.
The settings of the adaptive shock absorbers have also been changed, but the brakes remain standard. These are carbon-ceramic mechanisms with 410 mm calipers on the front axle and 360 mm on the rear. They are hidden behind unique 21-inch wheels, the design of which is taken from the Valkyrie and Victor.
Along the way, the coupe and open Volante increased body rigidity in the front end by 25% and were equipped with a new, stiffer steering column. It should improve the driver's "feeling of the road."
The external sign of the new modification was a rethought aerodynamic tail, and inside there was a new trim made of leather and Alcantara, numerous thematic nameplates and embroideries, as well as a plate with the number of the model in the series.
Production of the DBS 770 Ultimate will begin in the first quarter of this year, and the first cars will reach customers only in the third quarter. The cost of the new item is not disclosed.
It is possible that the DBS 770 Ultimate will not only be the last Aston Martin DBS, but also the last Aston with a V12.
The most powerful production (non-hybrid) car in the company's history. Only 300 of these coupes and 199 open grand tourers will be produced, and all of them have already been sold.
