Toyota Carina ED (ST200-201, V TYPE) brought to you by @elijahshouldbefine.
IMPORTANT TO NOTICE: This is a (not exact) version of ED that I've seen and been into as a passanger.
BACKGROUND: It was a good (but not so reliable) source of transportation in north conditions (-25 degrees celsius, Siberian winter), especially when it's not yours and nobody gave shit about this car. Sadly, it died for about year ago or so. The engine suffered from oil starvation, and due to its lack, the connecting rods began to “knock”, subsequently pierced the engine block and made the car absolutely untransportable and unusable. In general, this mod also can be positioned as a tribute to lost friendship, because, as mentioned above, I was neither the owner of this car, nor its operator, but it brought me (and then, my friend) a lot of emotions and experience. Maybe one day we'll meet and talk about this situation in a positive rather than a negative way.

This model was made by me in a week (including the time spent working on shaders, texture upscaling, physics settings, etc.) in order to take a break from routine work, so it has a lot of so-called "shortcomings" (for example, layering of door cards in the cabin and their disproportion with respect to the doors). ALSO, the model is very low-poly, so I don't position this mod as something that can be posotioned as "breakthrough" in terms of quality or detailing: I completed the tasks I set for myself, the car drives and looks like its real "sister".
Information about vehicle: The third generation was released in October 1993. Adopting a new platform and switching along with "Celica" and "Corona EXIV". The 1740mm wide 3 number body was changed to a pillarless hardtop style pillared hardtop. In addition to the vehicle width, the wheelbase was increased by 55mm and the vehicle height was increased by 10mm to increase the cabin space compared to the previous model.
The engine was the same 2-liter high-mecha and sports twin-cam 16-valve engine as the Celica, the former producing 140PS and the latter producing 180PS. In addition, a 1.8-liter high-mecha twin-cam 16-valve engine that delivers 115PS is also available. In May 1994, a full-time 4WD model was added to the 3S-GE engine model.
In April 1998, "Carina ED" ended with this third generation.
